WHAT IS BIBLICAL THINKING?
It refers to our approach in dealing with unfavourable or disappointing news when we encounter it. This can significantly impact our mental well-being.
Philippians 4:4 says, Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!
As long as we believe we are victims, we are not able to achieve full mental health. Praising the Lord in the midst of our pain is the greatest thing we can do. Why? Because when we choose to fix our attention on God and rejoice in the good things He has done, we make Him bigger than our problems.
Memorising, reciting, or reflecting on these verses could be a great addition to seeking mental health counselling from professionals. No matter what, knowing that God loves you just as you are, no matter what you are feeling or experiencing in life, is the most important thing.
